Sunday, May 9, 2010. The BESTEST Husband EVER. This Mother's Day, Rob shined! Indulge me while I brag a little. Saturday he had tulips and chocolates delivered (sigh.). Saturday he took me shopping for two things I wanted: 1) a pan to make dutch babies in, 2) a pan for pop overs which I have been looking for. Sunday morning I was awoken to snuggles from my boys and cards. Rob made me beignets and cafe au lait for breakfast. Our very own homemade donuts. Faux-mosas in champagne flutes. Verse of the Day.

Tuesday, January 12, 2010. 13 Books in 2009. So, I'm kind of proud of myself. I didn't learn to read until 2009. Of course I know how to read, but I never enjoyed a novel before. Starting May of 2009, I began to read and completed 13 books. It amounted to 5,857 pages. Can't wait to see my list for 2010 in 12 months from now. Books I Read in 2009. 1 Water for Elephants - Gruen, Sara 335. 2 The Help - Stockett, Kathryn 451. 3 City of Glass (Mortal Instruments, #3) - Clare, Cassandra 541. Total Pages = 5857.

Thursday, April 15, 2010. Muse @ Oracle Arena. We went to see Muse at the Oracle Arena. We had good seats, but the video I took from my phone didn't translate well to anything better than viewing it on a phone. That show kicked a*! That's all I can say about that. atkins family: Naomi - 4 Months

Monday, April 4, 2011. Naomi - 4 Months. Naomi is 4 months old. Here's what she's like:. Sleeps well at night - only one feeding and back to sleep. Loves her play mat (gymini). Loves her brother - he kisses her head. She weighs 14 lbs (about 50th percentile), is 75 percentile in length. So she's long. Eyes appear to be on their way to brown (her brother has hazel eyes). She breaks out in hives on her face when she cries (just like her mommy). So she's the only other person I know that this happens to.
