Koshish" ist eine Selbsthilfeorganisation psychisch erkrankter Menschen in Nepal. Bereits vor ihrer offiziellen Registrierung und Anerkennung seitens der nepalesischen Regierung half diese Organisation inoffiziell zahlreichen, an schwersten psychiatrischen Krankheiten leidenden Menschen. Freunde Koshish e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, der es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, die nepalesische Selbsthilfegruppe psychisch erkrankter Menschen "Koshish" zu unterstützen. Unser Verein wurde Anfang August 2010 auf Initiative des Arztes Georg Bachhuber (1. Vereinsvorstand) gegründet, der selbst mehrfach in Nepal gearbeitet und sich der absolut zuverlässigen und selbstlosen Arbeit von "Koshish" vor Ort vergewissert hat. Reinhold Messner, im Mai 2011.
