One seizure at a time. December 11, 2009. 8212; koshti @ 3:07 pm. Went to the doctor yesterday who told me that I have “a rash”. No really, he sat across his desk from me, looked at my red splotchy (clothed) torso, neck, and head and said, “You have a rash. Definitely, you have a rash.” He gave me a prescription for prednisone, and I am to come back on Monday for further grandiose pronouncements. Reading, it turns out I’m 5’5″ and weigh…158 lbs. The World Through His Eyes. June 2, 2008 in Hospital. Terrel was discharged from the hospital this morning, with a directive from the nurse….he could come back to visit anytime, but he was not to be admitted again. Most of the nurses now know him, and while they all seem to adore him, they say they don’t want him to be admitted again. Terrel seemed to be doing well today after coming home, though he tired easily. Probably within a day or two he’ll be back to his alert self again. Hopeforty on A History.

The World Through His Eyes. September 20, 2008 in Being Mobile. Yesterday he showed us what he could do! At first it was 4 steps at a time, and then pausing. Then he took 6 and 8 steps. And the he took 12 to 14 steps before pausing. Pausing means he’d let his feet drag on the treadmill. He even got mad when his PT stopped the treadmill at one point because he was breathing a bit hard. Probably part of the cause of that is his asthma. That’s always important too🙂. Go, Terrel, go! The World Through His Eyes. June 12, 2008 in Hospital. Terrel was discharged from the hospital this afternoon. After spending 9 days in the hospital because of the Rotavirus. He is still getting continuous feeds via his feeding tube, but he is able to take some milk and/or PediaSure by bottel, and able to keep it down.
