They do a test now called an "ultra screen" to test the baby for downs syndrome. really, all it consists of is measurements of the baby's. Neck, and other things. kinda weird. They also took some small blood samples, which i haven't. Heard the results from that yet. But they said that so. Far, the baby looks healthy and everything seems good! Friday, April 24, 2009. One Big Happy family. Well, its been really long since I wrote last! Well, here's the scoop: We had our baby boy Truman Scott Peterson on March 19th at 7:45 AM. He weighed 8 lbs 6.5 oz. and was 20.5 inches long! At first, he was having some minor complications, so he spent the first. Day and a half in the nursery. It was hard on me not to have him with me (especially since they did that same thing with Cadence! Atleast they brought him to me every few hours so I could feed him!
