Don't know what happens on a belt test - so here's some pictures to give you an idea. We show up about an hour early to keep ourselves psyched up - we warm up - stretch a little - take some "before" pictures and keep busy. We do not do this with our gi. On because wrinkled gi. At the beginning of a test mean push-ups!

This weekend was pretty busy - with a furlough on friday I had lots of time to bake for two separate orders and then saturday was my first martial arts test.all I can say about that is UGH. Mixed in with all that - Doug and I had dinner with his friend Steve on thursday night and then dinner with all the cousins and Jan and Bill on friday night. Of course we took no pictures - oops.

It was a fun night - I helped in the fighter's corners and with adding up scores after the fights - everyone did great and I didn't have to get hit. Thursday, 6 December 2007. My parttime job for the moment. Sunday, 28 October 2007. Anybody wants a 250USD Steak? And after two days of working what can I say? A restaurant is not the easiest and most uncomplicated place to work in. Everything is done in a very specific way and it feels like it´s gonna take quite a while before I´m gonna feel comfortable.
