I love this time though because I really get to see all my students push themselves and they grow a ton! It's incredible to see! Our theme for state assessments each year is "Rock the Test". We set goals for ourselves, wrote them on paper guitars, and hung them around the classroom! Oh the joy that I find each day in my classroom!

In 2007, Sigma Phi Epsilon adopted TAKE foundation as a national philanthropy. Since then, the Sig Ep chapter at Pitt State has teamed up with my Tri Sigma chapter to raise money for the foundation. Monday, November 30, 2009. Tri Sigma has been keeping me extra busy lately. In November my calendar was filled with Sigma events galore! It all started with the Panhellinic Leaf Rake. The leaf rake is an event hosted once a year. The entire Greek community at Pitt puts on their working shoes and heads out to rake the town, one yard at a time! Tuesday, May 18, 2010. It is official. I am a college graduate. This was my last week of college and I am happy to say it is over, but interested to see where life is going from here. Wednesday, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Sigma Tau Gamma, and Panhellinic. Council hosted a benefit concert and bbq for a scholarship fund. It was nice to take a break from finals week and get together for music, food, and fun! Friday, I graduated! I was so happy that my younger brother, Bryce, got to come to town for the big occasion.
