Krav Maga Edinburgh Blog: LAST NIGHT AT KRAV MAGA EDINBURGH
http://kravmagaedinburgh.blogspot.com/2015/06/last-night-at-krav-maga-edinburgh.html
Krav Maga Edinburgh Blog. Wednesday, 17 June 2015. LAST NIGHT AT KRAV MAGA EDINBURGH. So we started the class working on some pre-emptive strikes. From there we looked at using these from various intimidation positions, mainly clothing grabs. We then built it up and added in a multiple opponent factor changing the distance of the second attacker. Sometimes he would be right in close with the guy grabbing you or sometimes out on the periphery. See you guys Thursday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Krav Maga Edinburgh Blog: BOXING INTO CQB
http://kravmagaedinburgh.blogspot.com/2015/06/boxing-into-cqb.html
Krav Maga Edinburgh Blog. Wednesday, 24 June 2015. Last night we worked on our shovel hooks and then looked to take some form of control. This can be a wrap of the arm, clinch, a single arm around the neck. At the start we were wearing gloves so we were rather limited however, once we got them off it was easier. We did a few rounds of boxing trying to use the shovel hook and increased footwork. At the end we revised the outside defences and threw in some edged weapons to up the pressure.

Indomitable Spirit: August 2010
http://lifeisacombatsport.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 25 August 2010. Loads to write about but no time to do it! Friday, 13 August 2010. It's been a busy week here! Went to the women's krav class last night. First off, it was GREAT to see big Lee back for the first time since his knee surgery. On the downside, he made us work hard lol. Then we hit the floor for some planks and some leg raises. 3 sets of each, 20 secs each. Quick water break then we broke out the pads for some padwork. Which was a definite plus point! Good class though and glad to...

Indomitable Spirit: This week's classes
http://lifeisacombatsport.blogspot.com/2010/08/this-weeks-classes.html
Thursday, 12 August 2010. I have to confess that I passed on Sunday Service this week. They'd relocated to Portobello Beach for the day, which would have been nice since the sun was shining. However after 6 hours of kung fu training the day before, I decided to stay in bed instead! Chi kung and kung fu class. In chi kung we focused on fine-tuning 'skills' rather than techniques. Nice relaxing class that set us all up nicely for kung fu lol. I'm actually not that great at the 'movement' bit! Thought of go...

Indomitable Spirit: May 2010
http://lifeisacombatsport.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 26 May 2010. Sleep deprived no more! I finally got a good night's sleep last night. The previous 3 nights I really hadn't slept well at all, and what sleep I had managed was little more than a doze. I'm not sure what made me so restless; perhaps a combination of heat and other stresses. Sleep deprivation is not a good thing. The world starts to look like a very strange place when you are mentally knackered. If I'd had the energy yesterday I would probably have been quite grumpy! Despite the he...
