Monday, May 25, 2009. Already old enough to graduate? This weekend we traveled to Baldwin, Wisconsin, for my brother’s graduation. Can you believe it? Luke is old enough to graduate already! Saturday, June 20, 2009. We’ve been graced with the company of Barb (Nick’s mom), Luke (Nick’s brother) and Jess (Luke’s girlfriend). The kids had orientation at MSUM today. They are getting pretty excited to start school, and we are getting pretty excited about having them in town. Kaleb sure thinks they are pretty fun! Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Here are some photographs that were taken from the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge that crosses the Red River from Moorhead to Fargo. It’s one of two remaining bridges that are still open, all seven other bridges in the metro area are under water. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Weekend in the Metro…part one…. We spent the weekend of February 5- 7th in Plymouth, MN to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Erika’s (Ann’s cousin) baby girl. We also celebrated the return of Erika’s brother, Karl, from Iraq. ( see part two. Both events went off without a hitch. We had a fabulous time visiting with the Gustafson family. It was such a joy to see Karl, his wife Becky, and daughter Greta relishing in their time together. February 21, 2010 at 8:10 AM.

Friday, March 19, 2010. My ear hurts daddy. We spent much of the evening up with Kaleb as his hear hurt. He started with a cough a few days ago and now has an ear infection. Kaleb and I made a trip to the walk-in clinic this morning to get some antibiotics. Poor little guy keeps saying, “My ear hurts daddy, make it better.”.
