Monday, August 3, 2015. Time for another Merry Monday Challenge. This week Deanne challenges us to create a Christmas card using Pastel colors. To get the color behind my snowflakes, I used the back side of the stamp from the stamp set Sparkle and Shine by Clearly Whimsy stamps. The sentiment is also from that set. Friday, August 7, 2015. You are my best friend. I am back today with another card using the amazing products in the Stamp of Approval Friendship Collection. I sponged the background piece with Distress inks in rainbow colors. After sponging, I placed the awesome stencil from the box over the piece and added translucent embossing paste over top. A crafting adventure…. Playing with mask paper, Distress Inks and water. This card was made with both the CAS(E) this Sketch #129. And The Card Concept #38. I thought I’d die-cut some stamping mask paper, pop it onto watercolour paper, then splash Distress Ink around… but is there a trick for getting mask paper to stick to watercolour paper? LOL I used the smooth side, but no matter how thoroughly I pressed the mask paper down it kept lifting up. Argh! 2 July 2015 at 00:19. I love the masked leaves!

July 29, 2015. Just popping in to share another project using a few of the new Splash of Color release products by Simon Says Stamp. I created this nautical themed card using the new Sail Away stamp set. I blended in some Maliblue. On the Splashy Waves. And colored my sailboat with Copics.
