Acquired brain injury (ABI) is a silent epidemic that impacts over two million American lives each year. According to the CDC, traumatic brain injury alone costs an estimated 76.5 billion dollars each year in medical expenses and indirect costs. We all know someone who has experienced a traumatic brain injury; and as likely, someone in our own family has experienced a stroke.
