i101: Positional vs. Non-Positional
http://jrcooley.blogspot.com/2007/02/positional-vs-non-positional.html
I am Jeffery Cooley and I am a freshman at IU in an introduction to informatics course. Friday, February 23, 2007. Positional vs. Non-Positional. The difference between the positional and non-positional number systems is simple. The positional system is based on exactly where the numbers are in the sequence of numbers; as opposed to non-positional number systems where the position of the number isn't a determining factor. An expamle of the non-positional system would be roman numerals. Lab 4 Unix Commands.
