http://azrusicks.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
I'm beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things in life which are the real ones after all. -Laura Ingalls Wilder. Friday, March 27, 2009. I know this girl. Mother of three beautiful boys, patient and kind, cracks me up, fun to be around, amazing friend. Who's husband has been in Iraq for 5 months and has one more to go. I'm so impressed by her and how she's endured these past months without him. When you try to do something nice for HER, this is what she gives YOU in return-. Kylie had her fir...

I'm beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things in life which are the real ones after all. -Laura Ingalls Wilder. Monday, April 6, 2009. Who doesn't love a day at Enchanted Island? Besides the scary workers that run the kiddie rides, it's great for the average preschooler! There is a roller coaster, bumper boats, train, carousel. And other little rides. When Dave's sister was in town we took the girls for a little fun at the park. To the worker. It was pretty funny. Day at the Museum. That wee...

http://gale-mail.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 18, 2008. We just got back from a week in SunRiver and it was a fantastic trip. A lot of fun relaxing and hanging out with family. I'll post more later, but had to share some photos of Eli's first ever fish! His Uncle Drew took him fishing and he was thrilled to catch one although a little less thrilled to touch it once it was caught! Way to go Eli! Posted by The Gale Family. Links to this post. http://gale-mail.blogspot.com/2009/09/back-to-school.html
Wednesday, September 2, 2009. I can't believe how old our kids are getting (and thus how old Jon and I are getting). Today was the start of highschool for Alex, 8th grade for Mona, middle school (6th) for Eli, and kindergarten for Isaiah! There were no tears that first day, but the next week proved a little more difficult separating (for him and me! Eli wouldn't cooperate, so we'll have to just imagine how great he looked! The ups, the downs, and the going arounds of our life - as told through the eyes of me - CHANEL. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Today we had a bit of a down day to recover from our DC visits. We are headed back there tomorrow, so I will post all of DC at once. Rodney stayed on the dock and did a little fishing. Almost every cast brought in another fish! He helped Ava catch one and she was thrilled, but not enough to kiss it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A mile in our shoes.

The ups, the downs, and the going arounds of our life - as told through the eyes of me - CHANEL. Saturday, September 19, 2009. The only thing better than the pool and the sun was the Pina-Coladas and Strawberry Daiquiris! We have always enjoyed our get aways to Palm Springs, and this time was no exception- but I think I will keep my home in Texas surrounded by good food, unsnooty people, and more heterosexuals per-capita! It was a very enjoyable day, and the views were well worth the hike in the heat!

The ups, the downs, and the going arounds of our life - as told through the eyes of me - CHANEL. Sunday, June 6, 2010. I guess we know were all the talent in the family went. All of my siblings are extremely talented in one way or another. Me- not so much. My mom would always say "you have the talent to make friends". I think that is the same as being told "you have a sweet spirit". Oh well, I don't mind enjoying all their hard work :). And check her store out at http:/ www.etsy.com/shop/scarycute.

The ups, the downs, and the going arounds of our life - as told through the eyes of me - CHANEL. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Tuesday, August 4, 2009. As yo can see, Rodney has a hard time resisting the lure of the cupcake. Maybe he is willing to come to parties and eat questionable cupcakes because I HATE cupcakes and cakes and refuse to have them in my home except for special occasions. Poor Rodney, but he is a great sport! Sunday, August 2, 2009. View my complete profile.

The Johnson Journey: Washington, DC
http://chanel-thejohnsonjourney.blogspot.com/2012/06/washington-dc.html
The ups, the downs, and the going arounds of our life - as told through the eyes of me - CHANEL. Monday, June 25, 2012. We dedicated 3 days to visiting DC, and nearly killed the kids, and ourselves for that matter, as we attempted to see as much as we could. Of course, DC was as incredible as ever! Day one of DC (Monday) was overcast and in the low 70's. It had drizzled in the early morning, so the temp was even a bit chilly at times. We saw the White House,. The Lincoln Memorial,. The MLK Memorial,.
