Aloha, The Thompsons: 29 weeks
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012/09/29-weeks.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Saturday, September 8, 2012. Oh man. what a week! Chris was traveling for work Tuesday through Friday, so it was me and my fur-babies holding down the fort. Lucky for me, they are my secondary alarm system. Lucky for them, I remembered to feed them each day! Week 29 on-goings and such:. The baby is about 14.5 inches long, and weighs about 2.75 lbs (still a boot. she will transform into something else manly and cool next week.). Her head is growing, including rapid brain growth.

Aloha, The Thompsons: August 2012
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Sunday, August 12, 2012. This was a busy week! On Friday, we had a Dr's appointment, where I had to do a glucose test, and we also had birthing class. First, the glucose test: not as bad as I thought it was going to be! I had heard horror stories about how terrible the drink tasted. And I am not going to lie. That bottle of orange liquid definitely stared me down for the past 4 weeks and it was not a nice stare. I can't even handle once! Anyway, on to week 28 pics! Work on that A/C!

Aloha, The Thompsons: seattle shenanigans
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012/09/seattle-shenanigans.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Saturday, September 8, 2012. This is WAY overdue, but I FINALLY got around to finishing this post. Sorry for the delay! We flew out on Thursday 07/05/2012. We were supposed to work that day and catch a flight out that evening, but my impatience got the best of me, and I begged and pleaded with C$ to pay the extra fee so that we could fly out earlier. Because he is SUCH an amazing guy, he agreed :). Cafe umbria and the glasshouse studio on a bluebird sky seattle day. perfect. On Satu...

Aloha, The Thompsons: June 2012
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Monday, June 25, 2012. Nothing too exciting this week. Just growing away! What is going on your ask? Why, let me tell you! Week 22 in a nutshell. Baby is almost 10 inches long and weighs a WHOLE 14 ounces! Baby is the size of a small doll. (man terms: the size of an overinflated football. the description stays as an overinflated football through week 24. Funny. I. Feel like an overinflated hot air balloon! This is my worst nightmare, and I am sure. C$'s best dream.). I really enjoy ...

Aloha, The Thompsons: the dreaded "shopping" trip
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012/07/dreaded-shopping-trip.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Sunday, July 8, 2012. The dreaded "shopping" trip. 24 weeks. I can no longer hide the bump. It is "loud and proud". Being "loud and proud", it also demands a new wardrobe, much to my dismay. (Sounds a bit like an oxymoron doesn't it? ME saying that I am dismayed by a new wardrobe? But to back track, this was not my first shopping trip. I have attempted to go a few times, but have been unsuccessful for a variety of reasons. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A bit of background.

Aloha, The Thompsons: April 2012
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Saturday, April 28, 2012. 4h appointment: the most reassuring sound in the world. I went in for the 4. Anyway, back to the appointment. At this appointment, there was no sonogram, which I was actually relieved, because I didn’t want to be tempted to ask them if there was * any. The next sound I hear was a quick little heartbeat fill the room. That was our bay bay and I think that he/she/it was saying hi to me J. Are you going to find out? And the jig is up! The story it out. At this...

Harris Family: 5 Months
http://harriscougfamily.blogspot.com/2012/11/5-months.html
Saturday, November 3, 2012. Here are some of the things Cameron is able to do along with favorites:. Plays with his hands and feet. Smiles, laughs and coos when being talked to. Is able to stand steadily when being held. Grasps toys and reaches out for objects. Turns toward new sounds. Can roll over both ways (he did this last weekend with his friend Frankie! Squeals, gurgles, coos, blows bubbles. He is also starting to imitate sounds and the volumes of his sounds are getting much louder.

Aloha, The Thompsons: Belly Pirates
http://alohathethompsons.blogspot.com/2012/07/belly-pirates.html
Aloha, The Thompsons. Sunday, July 8, 2012. I keep getting asked by various family and friends if random people have started walking up to me without invitation, and decided that it was totally and completely acceptable to rub MY belly. Well, up until today, I would answered “NO! 8221; with a horrified look on my face. But following my run in at work, I can now say yes, although not without a big of laughter in my voice. 8220;how are you feeling? 8220;how is the pregnancy going? 8221; It took everything ...
