It's A Great Day To Be Alive. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Freedom Trail Part I. Boston Common is made up of 44 acres of open land in the middle of the city and has never been built upon. It is America's oldest public park. King's Chapel is the result of King James II ordering the establishment of an Anglican parish in Boston. It's A Great Day To Be Alive. Saturday, September 22, 2007. I'm off on my adventure! I am off to Boston tomorrow (Sept. 18, 2007) so my roommates threw me a going away party. Nothing fancy but a good 'ol time with fabulous friends. Really, who could ask for more? I did get a little sad when I realized the amazing people I would be leaving, but their support makes all the difference. Here are some shots of the get together. On the mountain above Hananuma Bay (the wind almost blew us off the mountain! We love lighthouses. To get to this one would have required a hike of about an hour (we skipped it).
