Category Archives for Odds and Ends. This summer, while I was frantically searching for jobs, I became envious of those who worked nine-five at a desk. What a great routine I thought. Work at the office during the day, go to the gym at night, and have dinner with wine to conclude the evening. Two weeks ago, I finally did land that nine-to-five job at an advertising agency in Portland. I absolutely love it. Having been a newspaper reporter and waitress, I was used to odd hours and being on my feet all day.

Author Archives for krissyjaye. People attend church services for all different reasons. While in Amarillo, Texas, I started attending a Christian church. I may not fully understand the Christian denomination, but I really enjoyed going there. The reason I enjoyed the Church was because of the great message the minister would give every Sunday. It was a message that could be applied to our daily lives. It was often scary how much those messages reflected exactly what I was going through at that time.
