I couldn’t get warm today. I woke up, went to the gym, went to work, took a walk at lunch, bundled up in my coat…and I still felt cold to my very core. So I left work, and I drove. I drove in circles, through back country roads…thinking, crying, feeling. And I finally felt warm. It’s the date this year that haunts me.
