Slaying the Dragon: Our Miracle
http://kristaisslayingthedragon.blogspot.com/p/our-miracle.html
My walk with cancer. Before they started my treatment. My oncologist asked me if my husband and i were wanting anymore children because my treatment to save my life would leave me barren. We had been trying for 5 years to have a second child. we had gone as far as taking fertility treatments with no luck so we just thought that it wasn't in Gods great plan. Don't skip over the painting of the nursery. That mural turned out fabulous! And ANYONE can do it the way we did it! Painting the nursery 1. Watermar...
Slaying the Dragon: 2013 Relay For Life
http://kristaisslayingthedragon.blogspot.com/2013/07/2013-relay-for-life.html
My walk with cancer. Saturday, July 13, 2013. 2013 Relay For Life. This was my third relay for life. Relay always brings mixed feelings for me. Gratitude that this part of my life is over,. But also sadness because of those that fought with me are no longer here. It does renew my commitment to living everyday,. And never looking back. Many things have changed in the three years since my cancer,. Some good some bad. But for the most part I'm still living everyday as if it is my last. Relay on the track.
Slaying the Dragon: Day 17 Dairy and Soy free
http://kristaisslayingthedragon.blogspot.com/2012/10/day-17-dairy-and-soy-free.html
My walk with cancer. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Day 17 Dairy and Soy free. NO i just have to pay more attention and find the right bag! This would have been the CORRECT choice. but honestly i don't know if that is carried at the store where i was shopping at. they are made with sunflower oil. So im a bit on the not myself today, its not really bad, it could have been worse a chocolate bar, or a cup of cream would probably make me want to hurl. Labels: A Dairy/Soy free life. PA, United States.

On the Road with Lou and Kathy: June 2014
http://ontheroadwithlouandkathy.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
The Journey is the Destination. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. June 3rd - Tuesday - Beautiful Sunny Day - 78 degrees. We will be able to put our new car into the garage where it belongs. We had to go to Harrisburg to get our 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ. I tried to do business with Cole and Burd in Mansfield as that is where I have purchased my last eight new cars, but they were not interested, so I went on line and found this great sales person at Sutliff Chevrolet in Harrisburg. Musings about being a college professor, a mom, and anything else I am that day! Krista Isn’t Blogging. Krista is trying to stop eating as much – specifically cinnamon bears, Twizzlers, and all things delicious and sugar filled. so perhaps instead of the condemning title I just proposed, I can amend it to Krista is trying (not to eat delicious things all the time, and as a reward when things don’t go her way). Krista is planning all the things. And what seems like a million other things. Krista just real...

Turning Japanese
Constant bewilderment and an overdose of cutesy. Monday, January 12, 2009. Kintaro-ame is a very old, traditional style of Japanese candy-making, formed by layers of candy rolled together into a long rope and then cut into thick, cylindrical slices. Each slice of candy features the face of Kintaro (Golden Boy), a Japanese folk hero (although it's not always Kintaro's ugly mug in the candy- it can be anything from animals to Santa Claus). Kintaro was a kid with purportedly Superman-like strength. Has beco...
