February 12, 2012. We drove to North Carolina this year to spend Christmas with Matt's family. Ella was spoiled rotten (of course) and had lots of fun playing with Grandma and Papa and visiting both sides of Matt's family. It was a quick but busy trip! Grandma had lots of special ornaments just for Ella to take off the tree. It kept her very occupied. A big box o' Elmo! We had to rent a trailer to get all of her gifts home. January 16, 2012. Pre-Christmas: Decorating, Presents, and Cookies! The finished product. Once again, eyes closed. Since we were going to be in North Carolina for Christmas, my family (Mom, Dustin, Tonya, Samuel, Rachel, Gram, and Doc) came up for a weekend before Christmas to celebrate with us. It was so special as we've never been able to celebrate with both families before. Ella with the tree full of presents (thanks to Grammy). Ella and Rachel reading. So sweet. September 03, 2010. Ella is nearing 4 months old and we're loving all of her new "skills." She's quite the mover and shaker right now and has started talking and laughing quite a bit. We find ourselves commenting how we could just watch her talk all day. Here she is after a bath. She's starting to grab her feet and would have them in her mouth along with everything else if she could. She hasn't quite learned the art of flirting as seen below with her boyfriend Wyatt when we all went to Keystone.

May 17, 2011. Ella's First Birthday Party! Well, the dust has settled and I've finally "goo-goned" the last of the butterfly/flower stickers off of my windows. It's time to get her party onto the blog. It was so great! I found a cheap kiddie pool that just happened to have butterflies and ladybugs on it (perfect! That I filled with balls. August 08, 2010. Our baby girl is now three months old! Boy is it convicting to see that the last blog we did was at 2 months. We'll have to get on it. She now weighs 13 lbs and 13 oz. November 03, 2010. I know I'm partial, but I just couldn't get over what a cute cow our baby girl made. We didn't take her trick or treating, but we did dress her up for church to maximize the cuteness. We did a little family photoshoot, wanting to capture some fall colors.
