March 8, 2012. The Thing About Being Sick. Not gonna lie. I am not a good sick person. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but I have absolutely no tolerance for coughing, being achy, having a runny nose and sore throat, being congested, sneezing, having sinus pressure, feeling like my head is going to explode or experiencing any other similar sinus/cold/flu related symptoms. So when these symptoms hit (which is usually 2-3 times a year), I go through a few different stages:. I feel like I was.

The last 8 months have been this amazing and exhausting and fun and hard time full of baby giggles and not nearly enough sleep. And worth every single minute. So here I am on a Wednesday morning in late June, trying to avoid a very long To Do list at work while waiting on Friday to get here. Vacation starts when I leave work at 1:30 PM on Friday.
