The Barkers: The Great Wall
http://twobarkersandablog.blogspot.com/2009/12/great-wall.html
Monday, December 7, 2009. OK, let me start by saying, I am an idiot. I posted pics and stuff from Hong Kong, but I posted it on my photography blog. Thinking it was this blog. Woops. Not like it matters, but I never planned to post so many snapshots onto my photo blog, and definitely never planned to put a pic of Brian sleeping in bed on there. :) Anyway, it is already done. Here are some pics from The Great Wall! Kristan loved the wind :). Another steep part :). Yes, I did a handstand for crossfit :).

The Barkers: Merry Christmas!
http://twobarkersandablog.blogspot.com/2009/12/merry-christmas.html
Friday, December 25, 2009. Some pictures. Shugo loves sitting in front of the heater, Twiggy (our friends dog that we are watching for a bit) likes to just stay on her bed. Shugo clearly smelled that part of that box was for him. Thanks Chris and Tara! You have AMAZING timing! Your stuff always gets here just in time. I picked up the box on the 24th :). Thank you Chris and Tara! This was before he found the lens. he really enjoyed this little panda too, can't you tell? But Shugo wanted to eat him. I hope...

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. This blog is SO dead. 1) For me to accurately update my blog I cannot have two. 2) There is no reason I should not post personal things to my JJ blog. 3) Even if I want to keep business - business and personal - personal any slightly computer savvy person could easily find my personal blog anyway. AND 4) I am not that. So the short story is I am ending this blog and if you want to continue to follow me online go check me out at my Joy Jill Photography Blog. Joy and Brian Barker.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Things that Make me Laugh :). Ok, I absolutely LOVE talking with Japanese people and learning more about their culture. Last Saturday Brian and I had our friends Ryo and Kahori over for dinner. There English is ok, not great, but good enough to converse a little. It is SUPER fun to get to know them better and of course we both love to practice speaking another language. Then we treat you to a traditional Japanese-style dish. I do not understand whether you are delicious,and...

Sunday, October 25, 2009. Last week we went to the pumpkin patch! There is just something invigorating about going to the pumkin patch; I love it! We went with my friend Nikki and her little boy. We all had a fun time, but it was extremely muddy. And, as luck would have it, Landrey fell in the mud within five minutes of us being there. But, I still got some really cute pictures and a perfect pumpkin. Posted by Mae Flower and Gene Bug. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Livin' the Country Life.

My parents and Kevin's parents came to our house this year on Thanksgiving. It was such a nice treat having everyone together and Cole and Landrey loved it! Thanks for comming Grammy, Granddaddy, Grandmother and Grandpa. Here are a few pictures! The boys playing video games while the girls cooked. Posted by Mae Flower and Gene Bug. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Crazy enough we have had snow in Texas with unbelievably cold temperatures! I'm talking about wind chills below zero! Last week we missed four days of school and we are out again one day this week because of snow and ice. It has been nice being home and getting a little break from the hustle and bustle of life. Here are a few pictures from our snow days. Unfortunately, it was too cold for Brett and so I don't have any pictures of him. I'll post an update on him soon!

Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Posted by Mae Flower and Gene Bug. Wednesday, July 7, 2010. For the fourth, we went to Pflugerville. We had a great time seeing everyone. Landrey had a particularly good time visiting "Annabelle", one of the cows, and riding the Gator. Both Cole and Landrey loved the fireworks; it was our first year (in five years)that we did not watch them from inside the truck. :). Posted by Mae Flower and Gene Bug. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, August 9, 2011. I have really neglected the blog world! I am going to try to get back into it. We've had a wonderful summer and hate to see it end. This summer has been so fun with my three little ones. We love to go swimming, play in the sprinkler, and just stay home. It has been exciting having Brett around this summer and his latest accomplishment is crawling. Now he is into everything, but he keeps us on our toes. It is coming a long great and we can't wait for it to be finished.
