A Growing Homestead: August 2011
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 19, 2011. Jerome County Fair Demo Derby. It's that time of the year again when trashy cars, redneck people and lots of loud engines make the little boys shake with excitement! The demolition derby was lots of fun. Keegan was so excited that we had to remind him to breathe. Our good friends the Halverson's brought Hunter and Max, too. Cody's family came and brought Layton who laughed through most of the night. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Thursday, August 18, 2011. Keegan now ...

A Growing Homestead: An Undersea Party for Keegan's 4th Birthday!
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2012/06/undersea-party-for-keegans-4th-birthday.html
Saturday, June 9, 2012. An Undersea Party for Keegan's 4th Birthday! The boys woke up to a dining room under the sea! I thought that was cute. We played a few games until lunch time and then we really had fun. The kids giggled at all the names I had for things since they can't read. Coral was the favorite food of the day. Cody and I had filled up a cooler full of water balloons for the party the night before and they demolished them with our launcher and finally just throwing them all over tarnation!

A Growing Homestead: June 2011

Thursday, June 23, 2011. Too bad, Rod Stewart: Maggie May got married! I got to see my family which pretty much says it all. Here's my Aunt Peg, Grandma Marge, and myself. There were six flower girls that held Maggie's train wherever she went and it was very cute. The reception was uber pink and there were peonies- my favorite! I had to check out the cake and decided that my skills are definitely not this good. The boys. Brother Josh, brother-in-law Cesar and the hubby with a mirror reflection on his...

A Growing Homestead: April 2011
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 2, 2011. Probably the best day of the whole trip was spent with the family at Hidden Worlds. We had our own guides and didn't even see another group until we were ready to leave! Next, we each got to zipline through the jungle and Keegan was brave and went with Cody. After he saw Jamie go with his dad, Jeremy (Kristina's husband), he was all for doing it. Those two were like lemurs: if one jumped, well guess what. He loved it and couldn't stop talking about it. And let's not forget the Av...

A Growing Homestead: October 2011
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. Sugarbeet harvest is upon us! The long hours of getting the yard, the house, and several meals prepared in the freezer is over and we're blowing through the fields, bringing in all those sugarbeets. We've got about four days left if all goes well and I can't wait. It's been a long haul. From the other window I can watch the piler spitting out all the sugar beets into the pile. It's really big. This is what I stare at for half the day and the other half I'm getting loaded...Well ...

A Growing Homestead: February 2011
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. The dreaded Barbie house has resurfaced. This is room 3 of 6. I'm almost halfway done! I'm just finishing the outside and then can attach it and move to room 4 above it. Maybe if I had a girl I'd be more motivated. And can I just tell everyone I'm EXCITED. To go to MEXICO. I've given Cody and Keegan their haircuts for the trip; Cody and I have been tanning since I burned in the Caribbean and I'm not repeating that experience. We're getting excited! A Growing Homestead: November 2011
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 10, 2011. Mom's 60th Birthday at Chatsworth. How to honk at the gateman to open for your car! Some good 'ole English field lice. They have over 15,000 books at Chatsworth! Love the Veiled Maiden, but I took rotten shots due to the poor lighting where they stuck the lady surrounded by a heap of more decorations. I tried to exclude them from the photo. My grandmother would have her pooches immortalized like these prized pets were. Was filmed. Much of it was filmed here. Let me begin this...

A Growing Homestead: December 2010
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 25, 2010. The best moment this Christmas was when Cody and I were sitting on the couch after all the festivities, watching Keegan. He was playing and having fun; then, he stopped and turned and smiled the sweetest little boy smile of pure happiness at us. It was great. Friday, December 24, 2010. Christmas with the Little Ones. We played and played with all the Lego trucks. Keegan couldn't put the garbage truck down. Oliver had more fun with the bows and trying to get at the tree.

A Growing Homestead: September 2010
http://codyandlizbingham.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 14, 2010. How Blonde is Blonde? I needed to post this story because it's too cute:. If there was such a thing, 'neon white' could now be a descriptive color for Keegan's hair. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Cookie Monster, Meet your Match! Last Sunday some cupcakes were made at our house. It didn't take very long for the Cupcake Monster to appear and begin to eat them. Let's just say Dad didn't get to take very many in his lunches. Keegan is turning into our "Cool Dude!

A Growing Homestead: July 2012

Saturday, July 28, 2012. Blue Angels and Little Devils. Since Liz doesn't seem to get the pictures from my phone I figured I would do this. Today was a hit! What a great show! Topped off by a ride on a school bus for the boys back to our car. Then there were no more angels. Loud engines and hot pavement turn angels into devils. At least until a stop a taco bell and a cold drink calm the masses. Good day. The pictures make it seem like the planes were far away, but they are not. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
