Miss "Not So Plain" Jane

A thousand times I've failed, still your mercy remains." -Inside Out, Hillsong. Are we just snowflakes falling slowly into our destinations in life? Will the destination be a life with Jesus Christ and stay for awhile in a pile of snow? Or will it just disappear in the darkness and melt away on the hood of my car? I am craving for a life with Him. We all need to be commited just like He is for us. We need to do the same. His mercy and grace never leaves us, so we shall never leave Him. I have established...

Miss "Not So Plain" Jane: Summer Wrapup

http://www.kristenjanehughes.blogspot.com/2011/08/summer-wrapup.html

I didn't really do as good of a job keeping up with my blog as I thought I would this summer. But here's a little wrap up of it. I have more motivation this year then I ever had! Who knows if I will acomplish all of it, but I am ready to try for it. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Here's a little video I put together over the summer. Enjoy! Miss "Not So Plain" Jane: Changing seasons...and life.

http://www.kristenjanehughes.blogspot.com/2011/09/changing-seasonsand-life.html

Changing seasons.and life. It's hitting me hard that I'm a senior in College and unlike High School, I won't be going back to more schooling (at least not next year). I'm going to have to enter the working world. I'm excited for it, but preparing myself for it is the challenge. Balancing the transition while trying to do well this year is so overwhelming. So scared of getting older, I'm only good at being young, So I play the numbers game to find a way to say that life has just begun".

Miss "Not So Plain" Jane: Update in July

http://www.kristenjanehughes.blogspot.com/2011/07/my-internship-at-wrxy-is-going-well.html

My internship at WRXY is going well. I am really enjoying the people I work with and learning new things. It's making me anxious to get back to Otterbein to help apply some of the things to WOCC. Not only am I learning the techinical side, I am learning more about my faith. It's something I didn't expect to include this summer, but it's a comforting feeling. Loved the fondue and cream puffs, maybe a little too much. Jarred and Jacey Duke. 65279; One of Daniel's best friends, Bobby. Posted by Kristen Jane.

Miss "Not So Plain" Jane: November 2011

http://www.kristenjanehughes.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Sitting here, candles lit, glass of wine, soft music playing, I definitely feel a like girl. Recently, I've realized so much about myself. And it feels so right. For the very first time in my life (which is hard to admit) I feel completely comfortable in my own skin. This is something new, because I have always been comfortable in relationships, but that isn't what it should feel like. I, myself, need to be happy with who I am.before being with anyone else. That goes for anybody out there! It's not that ...

Life with the Lynches: August 2011

http://lifewiththelynchs.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 18, 2011. My Inner Julia Child. As I am starting to type this, I am already laughing. This is a post about my latest cooking adventures. And yes, they are just that. I am not a huge fan of cooking, for many reasons, but last week I purposed to make a menu, make a big grocery store run and cook my heart out. I came across my Grammie's Breakfast Casserole recipe. Matt's Aunt Linda and Uncle Dave came over to watch the game and eat with us. Aunt Linda brought Monkey Bread! Every Sunday for ...

Life with the Lynches: September 2008

http://lifewiththelynchs.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Today, she had a meeting scheduled at 11am and everyone was showing up around 12 to the meeting room downstairs in our office. We pulled her out of the meeting and told her we wanted to take her to lunch. We got her downstairs, and when the elevator opened, about 40 of her closest friends were standing there singing "Happy Birthday"! It was a perfect surprise. A special thanks to Lea McQuinn for making another fabulous cake! Jeanne, you are wonderful! Life with the Lynch's.

Life with the Lynches: Back In Time

http://lifewiththelynchs.blogspot.com/2011/09/back-in-time.html

Friday, September 16, 2011. Last week I went to my hometown of Millbrook, AL to visit my family. I love where I came from and think about it and the people often. This trip was a little different, in a good way. We used to skip rocks and run from side to side. The gaezebo! We would play hide-n-seek in there! My mom and friends would walk their miles and I'd run all in between. The baseball and football fields! Where some of my most precious friendships were made. The parking lot! Life with the Lynch's.

Life with the Lynches: June 2011

http://lifewiththelynchs.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 28, 2011. A Heart For The Next Generation. This past week, I was privileged to go with the Revolution Student Ministry ( Life Church. Youth Group) to Hiawassee, GA for Total Abandonment. I watched God transform the lives of our young people. Such an amazing trip, and I am going to try my best to recap the trip. A beautiful room, Cracker Barrel take out for dinner and The Bachelorette was a great end to 7 hours of driving. This was our luggage for 1 night. Ridiculous. Life with the Lynch's.

Life with the Lynches: Insights from Motherhood

http://lifewiththelynchs.blogspot.com/2011/07/insights-from-motherhood.html

Friday, July 22, 2011. Babies bring so much joy to everyone around them. They make your heart tender, your patience a little greater and your love for life so much stronger! Jackson will probably not ever know HOW MUCH HAPPINESS he brings to Matt, our family, friends and myself, but each day, I will strive to show him! I can't believe that he is almost 15 months old. Where did the time go? Life with the Lynch's. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ms Not So Plain Jane. The Duke and His Duchess.

This is OUR Life

Saturday, May 9, 2015. I am by no means a sewer. In fact, every time I work on a project it takes me 5x the amount of time I'm sure it takes others! But you know what? And in the end, these two don't care about perfection! Late last year I made Jackson the 'art caddy' that you see on the left. It has been used every. single. day. I had full intentions, fabric, and partial cutting done for Sawyer's for months - but the first one took me SO LONG it feared me to start another! Tuesday, May 5, 2015. I think ...
