February 5th, 2013. I’m clearly no expert in this but i have done it twice. ;) so here it is…. Oh where to start? I remember smiling through those contractions because i knew today was the day. i was really excited. i was secretly hoping this baby would come before thanksgiving, which was my due date. Remember that quilt I started a long time ago…. April 16th, 2014. Well I finally finished it! It was ONLY almost three years ago when I started it. It was one of the items on my birthday bucket list. So clearly I had to finish it. I had some motivation. It took a lot longer than I had planned…but considering I had never made one before I didn’t really know what to expect. I do know that if I make another quilt (which I want to) it will not be a full size! Your quilt – and baby are beautiful!

Monday, February 18, 2013. Behold the magic of Velcro. Sewing Machine (helpful but not required). Lay out your towel. My package of Velcro had three tabs so I spaced them accordingly. Across the top seam, I laid out the fluffy side of the Velcro tabs, them a few inches below that I lined up the hooked tabs. Pin them into place and sew them down!
