Most of the time, I just try something and if it doesn't work, or stops working after a while, I move on to something else. We all (Spencer, Christin, Collin, and Bailey) growl like bears. I just need to take a moment and share some frustration, but first, a little back story. Once upon a time, less than a year ago, I started running. Then I got inspired to run a half marathon. I completed it, and did it faster than I thought I could! We all (Spencer, Christin, Collin, and Bailey) growl like bears. I Can't Believe I Just Did That! In May when I started running again I never dreamed that in 6 months time I would complete a half marathon! Back then I could barely run a half mile. This weekend I ran 13.1, and had fun doing it! I'm so glad I got talked into signing up for this race. It gave me a goal to train toward. It has been a long road to get to the point where I could run 13.1 miles, all at once! I can't believe it came so fast!

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Jacob had his preschool graduation ceremony last night and even though we are waiting to send him to Kindergarten, it was still a little emotional! His class marched in and took their place on the stage and it didn't take him very long to find us in the audience! Jacob pretty much waved the entire time and took a few breaks to sing or check out the motions of the classmate next to him :) Poor kid kept zoning out and yawning - it was. 7:30 on a school night!
