I realize that I have been lacking quite a bit in the blogging category, but having the life of an exchange student makes it very easy get caught up living the dream. As a result, blogging is often long forgotten after the newness has worn off. In that case, I suppose I have a lot to catch up on! I suppose I’ll go in chronological order…so. Thursday, November 3, 2011. Latvia, Moose Hunting, and One Year Older! These past two weeks have been very eventful for me. I have done so many things that I never would have imagined doing. I think it will be both easier for me, and possibly more exciting for you, if I use pictures with captions to describe my last few weeks instead of writing a really long essay-like description. Two weeks ago, I went to R. The town of R ī. Others had more modern architecture. Others had more of a Russian influence.

Thursday, July 28, 2011. I now know that I officially get to leave for Sweden this morning as an exchange student. My visa hadn't come until yesterday afternoon, which would have meant I would travel to Sweden as a "tourist" until I recieved my visa. With less than 20 hours before I left, my visa approval finally arrived. I am looking forward to meeting everyone in Sweden and I can't wait to start my adventure. I will do my best to keep this blog updated semi-regularly, but I'm not going to guarentee...

This is, of course, in addition to coffee, which is, indeed, as good here as I was hoping it would be (probably partially because everyone over-sugars their coffee - delicious).
