Sunday, August 26, 2012. The kids really enjoyed this swing that's been tied to one of the trees at mile marker #13 for years now. I don't think I'd sit on it, but for kid-weight it seemed pretty safe. I think it saved them from a few hours of boredom. Monday, July 28, 2014. The day was going to come eventually. She was ready before I was. We were on our long drive back from the Grand Canyon and she looks at me and says she wants to cut her hair and donate it to another girl who doesn't have any. How can I say no to that? Friday, January 24, 2014. Lex has always been great at spelling. He nearly always comes home every week with 100% on his spelling tests. So, naturally, he should try to make it to the spelling bee and he did! He represented his fifth grade class to compete in the school spelling bee contest. I couldn't wait to hear how he did. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. About a week before dance competition season started, Isabel got sick. Really sick. When we first took her in to Instacare we were told she had? But a week later she still had a very high fever and wasn't getting better. We took her back in for more tests and this time I asked she be tested for flu. Even though it had already been 7 days, I wanted to know. Just to rule it out. Well, it came back positive. She had something that I can't recall on top of flu.

Sunday, September 9, 2012. Shane and Lex are out of town for a few days so Isabel and I (and her friend Abi) ventured out to the Utah State Fair. The weather was perfect and the corndogs hot! I enjoyed soaking in the fun details of the fair. As we entered the fairgrounds, we first passed the horse stables. And what would you know, but our luck landed us by a cowboy offering a few rides before the rodeo! The girls were ecstatic! And two tickets for the Spongebob bounce house. Sunday, September 09, 2012.

Mandag 9. november 2009. Trøblete start og avslutning. Lørdagens ironman i Florida ble ikke den sesongavslutningen jeg hadde håpet på. Svømmetidene bar preg av store bølger under svømmingen, og da kommer det svakeste svømmerne alltid dårligst ut. Jeg svømte med 2 andre jenter, men det ble dessverre mye kaving.
