Tuesday, December 23, 2008. I'm off tomorrow. Before I leave, I wanted to wish you happy holidays and share a pic with a holiday vibe. Santa will be visiting me in St. George. I'm then off to northern Utah to play in the snow and see my cousins. (I think I'll be able to hold my own with them.). See you in the new year,. Sunday, December 21, 2008. This is one of the first times that Jack fed himself. . The moment of triumph! Jack's great grandpa was born in New York City and grew a big fan of the Yanks...

In this together: It's a Boy!!!
http://bryceandkaren.blogspot.com/2009/08/its-boy.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. On Monday, August 24 at 7:02 PM our second child was born. To our great surprise, he was a boy. We didn't actually find out the gender beforehand, but I was as sure as could be that the baby was a girl, and managed to bamboozle my lovely wife into thinking the same thing. Suffice it to say we are absolutely thrilled with the little boy who has just joined our lives and are very happy with the name we chose for him (notwithstanding the adventure it was to name him). We love the ...

In this together: Happy Birthday, Jack!
http://bryceandkaren.blogspot.com/2009/08/happy-birthday-jack.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Happy Birthday, Jack! There's no better way to celebrate your 2nd birthday than by moving to a new home. Just look at the list Jack made of pros and cons:. Grandma Madsen, Grandpa and Grandma Wisan, Aunt Jann, and Uncle Doug all came to town to help with the big move. They also all brought presents! I got to ride on a dolly, play in boxes, and color with marker on the boxes. Grandma Jean brought homemade cookies. Since my dad ate them for breakfast, I did too. Happy Birthday, ...

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Happy Birthday, Jack! Jack turned one tonight. We had some friends and family join us for a celebration. We opened presents and ate cupcakes and ice cream. Actually, Jack got his own cake instead of an animal cupcake. . Jack preferred to keep his hands clean and just use his mouth. He'll be great in a pie eating contest someday. Don't you love the frog balloon? It's one of the few pictures I have with an animal balloon we made for the kids.). Monday, July 28, 2008. I plan to...

Wednesday, February 4, 2009. My brother commented the other day our blog is going downhill. (I think he was joking. But isn't there some truth behind every joke? I apologize. . Actually, Bryce would say I don't need to apologize. So for him, I take back the apology. I won't apologize. I'll just acknowledge the truth. . 3) I'm way behind on laundry, house cleaning, and opening mail. Sad. It drives me crazy too. I wish a snap of the fingers could take care of it. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Yesterday I rode my second century. This ride was the Viva Bike Vegas, and was 118 miles. The course was quite a bit longer than last week's Tour de St. George (at a mere 104 miles), but had less climbing. The weather was beautiful for riding- 80 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze. . Friday, October 24, 2008. When stripes are a good idea. I've learned in quilting that you need to stop and think before you choose to use stripes. You could be asking for extra pain. 160;I ALWA...

http://bryceandkaren.blogspot.com/2009/01/shapes.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. Jack with his favorite 'shapes' toys. For the last several months, Jack has really enjoyed playing with his shapes. In the last few weeks, however, he has gotten very good at identifying what goes where. In fact, I can hold up a shape and ask him where it goes, and he will immediately point to the correct slot. . I think that what i took from this post was Karen's amazing organization skills. Can i have some? January 29, 2009 at 8:41 PM. I like this blog. Photo of the Day.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. I actually tried to get out of doing the 'homemade' portion of my gift, but Karen was insistent that I fully participate in the activity. She suggested that I make my sister-in-law Brianne a headband. After much convincing and the use of much leverage, Karen got me in front of the sewing machine. Let's just say that it took a lot of supervision to get me from start to finish. . The Renaissance Man at work. There isn't anything I can't do. . Jack with his favorite 'shapes' toys.
