Kristina in Copenhagen!

Wednesday, December 2, 2009. No need to fear, Thanksgiving happened almost two weeks ago now, and even though I'm not in the US, I got to celebrate! Months in advance, I had been hyping up this holiday to my host family, telling them how epic it is and how much I wanted them to experience it, too. Not all things turned out according to plan, but it was definitely a success. My host sisters - singing the Danish national anthem, just a part of the normal festivities. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Which is HEL...

Kristina in Copenhagen!: August 2009

http://kristinainkopenhamn.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 22, 2009. On August 10, 2009, I embarked on my journey to Europa, where I will spend the next five months of my life. AHHHH, so exciting! And my grandmother has progressed a bit with her dementia, but otherwise, it feels much the same. My beautiful cousins in beautiful Sweden! My family, changed. 8220;Swenglish” spoken all day long. I am happy here. Nalund AKA the day I found another Scandinavian pop star to love. Swedish pop sensation, performed on August 14th at Gr. Of course, Gr.

Kristina in Copenhagen!: That one time I went to Scotland...

http://kristinainkopenhamn.blogspot.com/2009/11/that-one-time-i-went-to-scotland.html

Sunday, November 15, 2009. That one time I went to Scotland. I know, I know, it was over a month ago. and I apologize for not posting about the land of the Scots earlier. October was a CRAZAY month and for the past two weeks, I have been traveling once again! Thus the delay. Here are some highlights from my trip. From October 4th to October 10th, 52 psychology students from Copenhagen traveled to Edinburgh and Glasgow! Everywhere we went in Scotland seemed to scream "FALL! Lots of pubs and changing leaves.

Kristina in Copenhagen!: September 2009

http://kristinainkopenhamn.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 21, 2009. Okay, so I know that the date says it is the 21st, but let us rewind back to the 12th of September, when I wrote most of this entry, after a 3-day excursion to western Denmark. If these three days could be broken down to a theme of one or a few words, “exploring happiness” would do, but in practice, it was more like “embrace your inner child.” I LOVED it. Be simple, be free. I would now like to outline the 3 main sites we visited, and share with you my thoughts:. 8220;I love e...

Just Let Go.

Friday, August 14, 2009. Or do I make a new mold for myself? Where do I go to find contentment, the satisfaction of the life I once had? Is it possible to find it here, what if I never figure it out? What if I suffer from this confusion forever? I feel like it’s all out of my reach. I’ll never be who I was before I left for my search. But will I ever be able to find the peace, joy and contentment of the simple life here in this hectic life? Thursday, June 4, 2009. 5 For all the complaining I hear about t...

Kristina in Ireland | Eight months of teaching in New Ross, Ireland

Eight months of teaching in New Ross, Ireland. Auf Wiedersehen, Irland! 8211; Ein kurzes Fazit. August 9, 2012 by Kristina.

An American English Teacher in South Korea. What’s a girl gotta do to travel around here? 8220;Are you Nepalese? Bull;November 4, 2009 • 1 Comment. 8220;Are you Nepalese? This is MY summer love:. Http:/ www.ei-malawi.org/. Debug her pls&ty (:. Especially in IE. grr IE. Posted by Kristina Lugo. Sustainability and a Soft Heart. It always amazes me how just when my feet are steadying on the new ground I tread, that the end lurks nearby, and change is yet again ready to sweep me off my feet. Kristina'a Adventures in Montpellier. My (mis)adventures during my semester abroad in Montpellier, France. Inevitable topics include: Anecdotes of embarrassing language errors, ridiculous pictures, concern about how Minnesota nice is limited to Minnesota, French. men., nervous breakdowns regarding my GPA because my classes are in French, puns, drinking wine and consequences thereof, my obvious wish to expatriate and never return to the United States, ECT.
