Thursday, January 21, 2010. So this Monday was the end of my maternity leave. Back to work, schedules, real clothing (not comfy clothes), and handing off my sweet Alice to the lovely folks at daycare. I knew that the drop off would be difficult.it turned out to be so much harder than I ever imagined. Anyway that is how our first week is going. She's doing great.I am a complete mess tortured by guilt, sleeplessness, anger at the fact that I have to go to work, and missing my sweet girl so much.

Life in the Slow Lane. Sunday, September 2, 2012. Labor Day weekend and I have been busy in construction! I REALLY wish that I could get the picture thing to load on the blog. I have completed all 456 flying geese and decided that I needed to see how the block looks. I did post it on my Facebook page. I still need to cut many more pieces for the body of the quilt and then there is the border.YIKES! Cause that is kind of what the pool looks like at 8AM I hope the water does not take too long to warm up.

Whenever I ask him to tell me about his friends at school he tells me that she is his friend, ahh cute. I really think we hit the jackpot with this one.it's an in home preschool, (I wasn't thrilled about that idea at first) but just look at how cool her set up is. It's very classroomy. This year was the 30th.
