Monday, September 13, 2010. This week we have been preparing for a new kind of recreation! We have been talking about bicycling for awhile now, but the bikes were not in Kentucky. We finally went to Nashville last weekend to see Brian, and brought the bikes back with us. As you can see Jackson has been working extra hard on getting them ready for us to ride. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. To Blog or To Sleep. Tonight I finally chose blog! The reason I even have this thing is to keep track of our journey in the army, and to keep my family and friends informed on what is going on with us. So in several years when I want to look back on this year, I will probably be mad at myself for not being very detailed and consistent. I think we are only 2 hours from Destin and I know for a fact it is 380 miles to Disneyworld. That was one of the first things I checked into!

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. It is my goal to begin blogging again! I finally feel like I have things together again since completing graduate school, starting a new job and having a baby (nearly 2 years ago)! Okay - so I am going to make an attempt anyway! Monday, January 31, 2011. Shakespeare Can Be Rough. My little guy loves the bookshelf. Today he grabbed the Complete Works of William Shakespeare and took off running with it. Before I could stop him he tripped.and caught the corner of the book under his eye. He cried pretty hard for a minute and was over it. At the park on post. Friday, January 13, 2012. Our first 4 Years. I am so happy that military families are being represented this week at Kelly's Korner. I love her blog, but I also like reading about other military families and their journeys! There are no 2 the same, I promise. I'm keeping this short :). We have seen some places in the past 4 years! From getting married in Waimanalo, Hawaii and being stationed at Schofield Barracks on the island in 2007. Luckily he got to come home once during his deployment in July 2008.
