Life as the Emrich's :). Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Calgary Trip: Part One. Our 'adventure' up to Canada was well worth it. We had such a great trip! So much that I will be doing more than one blog post on it. At the border we got to use all American passports for the first time! Hunter was such a trooper in his car seat for the long time he was in there. He thought it was hilarious to play his own little version of hide and seek by sticking these little ducks up his shorts and "finding" them again.

Life as the Emrich's :). Monday, June 24, 2013. A couple weeks late.). At 11 months, he:. Loves to walk around holding on to our fingers, or pushing anything he can find. Would love to take off running, but doesn't quite have the control. Babbles a lot more. It's pretty adorable. Still loves getting into everything. Hunter is a busy boy! He keeps me entertained and busy all day long. His smile and happiness are contagious. I love having him around! This kis loves to eat! And boxes, or anything he can push.

Life as the Emrich's :). Thursday, May 30, 2013. On May 9, 2013 I officially became a United States citizen! It is quite the accomplishment. I love this country and am proud to be a citizen. That said, I will also forever be a proud Canadian :). The process of becoming an American citizen is a long and slightly painful one. I will say that getting a greencard is definitely the hardest part! We had to drive to Boise for the interview. I am so glad we have such a great little traveler! 3 weeks later we wen...

Life as the Emrich's :). Sunday, April 21, 2013. This post has been a long time coming. We've just been busy with life, so this post has taken a while to actually get put together. At 9 months, Hunter:. Has 6 teeth. He cut 5 new teeth this month. Ya, our house has been a party place ;). Is down to 2 naps a day. Loves to dance. He dances to any music or no music, and he'll usually do it on command, too :) My favorite is when he dances to the hymns during church. Loves to turn the pages when we read books.

Life as the Emrich's :). Wednesday, February 25, 2015. After Waterton we had a couple days before we all left, so we went to Heritage Park! A historical park.) Ohh the memories I have there. I loved getting to see Hunter enjoying some of the same things from when I was a kid. The boat swings and old rides were a hit with all the kiddos! We had to get some old fashioned gingerbread men from the bakery. The best ever. The kids all had a blast writing/drawing on the chalkboards. Posted by Krista Emrich.

Life as the Emrich's :). Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Our family did quite a lot of traveling this summer! So be prepared for multiple blog posts. We had an absolute blast going lots of different places. If we can't live in the same state/country as our families we are at least grateful we are close enough to visit pretty easily! Hunter and I started off our summer travels with a trip to California to visit my sister! A movie and some snacks. Life's peachy. We also ate our fair share of saltine crackers.

Life as the Emrich's :). Sunday, August 25, 2013. The Road to Canada. The first weekend of August we went to Canada for my cousin's wedding. Hunter's first international trip! We left Thursday morning around 10 am after getting everything ready and having breakfast. Normally from Idaho Falls it takes about 10ish hours to drive to Calgary. Totally doable. We'll get to more blessings in this story. About an hour later the AAA guy came and towed us in to Butte. Hunter's first time riding in a tow truck!

Life as the Emrich's :). Friday, October 3, 2014. Waterton - June 2014. Our second trip of the summer was camping in the Grand Tetons with Brad and Angie, but I already blogged about that one :) It was back in June. I bought Hunter this coloring book for the way up. It was worth its weight in gold! He colored for 2.5 hours straight! The weekend we were up there was incredibly cold and windy but we still enjoyed every moment outside we could! Life as the Emrich's :). Sunday, November 17, 2013. Jo and Chad's Wedding. The main reason we went up to Calgary was for my cousin's wedding! Jo is the only cousin my age (our birthdays are a week apart) and we were pretty close growing up.
