http://thatonegirlemily.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 1, 2010. The Blog Scene is Dead. The YA blog scene is desolate. Yes, while this is rather grim, let's face it, the action is gone. At least not very many of us are left. And that makes me so sad. This is one of the greatest parts of my adolescent life and it's sad to see it drifting away. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Discussi...

that one girl emily: The Prince and the Pauper
http://thatonegirlemily.blogspot.com/2010/12/prince-and-pauper.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. The Prince and the Pauper. The Prince and the Pauper. Want it. Like it. By the way, who doesn't love a good nineteenth century cover! I'm usually a lover of the classics, and don't get me wrong this book wasn't bad, but this one did not hook me as much as it should have. I loved the fairytale element too it and the historical endnotes that Twain threw in at the end. I'm a bit of a historical fiction fanatic and this was a great example of it. The characters were fantastic,.

Outside of a Dog: June 2014
http://mmzlibrary.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Outside of a Dog. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Lucky Us by Amy Bloom. Rating: 3 stars (out of 5). Review: Reading this book felt a little like watching a silent movie: some jerky, indistinct action, interspersed with text that's supposed to illuminate the dialogue you can't hear, but doesn't necessarily help bring the story into focus.
