Steinbring Fine Art: May 2011
http://kristinasteinbringfineart.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
A Collection of Daily Paintings. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. I guess I should have posted the other cherry painting first.but I will keep you in suspense. I was really drawn to the very obvious missing cherry in this little composition. Tried a lighter background on this one, and had fun pushing the paint around, adding color without getting too dark. Monday, May 30, 2011. I am not a big flower painter, but I received these from my sister-in-law, and I just couldn't resist! Labels: Not for Sale. Kristina Stei...

Steinbring Fine Art: Sand Dollar
http://kristinasteinbringfineart.blogspot.com/2012/08/sand-dollar.html
A Collection of Daily Paintings. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. I figured I should finally post this painting from my Sylvan Lake painting trip that I had showed in progress earlier. The sand dollar was a challenge, as it was so white, and kept coming across like a cutout. Some careful shadows gave it form eventually. I am very happy with how this particular painting turned out - I always enjoy painting these ones too! I have two more to complete in this series at this scale, each with different focal points.

Steinbring Fine Art: March 2012
http://kristinasteinbringfineart.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
A Collection of Daily Paintings. Sunday, March 25, 2012. I enjoyed reproducing the unique, rich color of the eggshells. I kept the composition simple to focus on the eggshells themselves. They also made for a tasty snack after I finished painting! Monday, March 19, 2012. I've been wanting to paint this one for a while - I always liked the tomato pincushion. It seemed like everyone's mom had one, and when I moved out on my own and had my own sewing kit - I had to have one too! Thursday, March 1, 2012.

A Collection of Daily Paintings. Monday, December 26, 2011. Finally get to post this little daily! I had to keep this one top secret, as it was a stocking stuffer painted for my daughter's boyfriend. Not a subject I would normally tackle, but a fun little painting, anyway. He loved it! Sunday, December 25, 2011. Those Special Wooden Ornaments. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. A Collection of Daily Paintings. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Back to the Pepper Obsession. It's like I just can't help myself when it comes to these colorful little gems - I am simply drawn to them in the grocery store! Even the kids, when shopping with me, see that look in my eyes and before I can even reach for the peppers, say, "Mom. No. No more peppers! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
