Kristine Albrecht has explored women in society through watercolor paintings and ceramic sculpture. Her latest series began in 2013 and illuminates individual women inventors and pioneers whose stories have been forgotten or were never widely known. Kristine graduated from UC Davis with a Studio Art Degree where she studied under Robert Arneson, Manuel Neri, and Wayne Thiebaud. She lives and maintains a studio in Santa Cruz, California.
