Loving being a mother of two…. We are back from Cabo San Lucas. Anya, Ben’s sister, and Jason got married on the 8th. We all headed down there, stayed a few days longer and made it our first family of 4 vacation. It was a phenomenal trip. No time to write details…a ton of laundry to be done and unpacking. A fun bike ride to Marina del Rey with great friends, great food and great live music. We took Travis' mom to see Elvis. He's alive and well and performs at parks during the summer. After surfing and stand-up paddle boarding we had some ice cream. We rented a Jeep Wrangler and rode around Maui with the top off. The view of the ocean from our living room. The road to the reception. North Shore of Maui. Site of the reception. Thought these mason jars were cool. An old sugar mill turned into beautiful wedding site.

The moment we finished the eight hour drive, we had to go for a bike ride and stretch our legs. We found a bike path and it lead to a beautiful view of the lake. The following day we embarked on a 9 mile hike around the west rim of the lake. View of Emerald Bay below. Then we went back to the lake and enjoyed a beautiful dinner cruise. We started the festivities with breakfast with Travis' family. Then we went to my sister's house and played games and got Cooties. On Christmas morning we enjoyed Brett opening up his gifts. He is becoming more and more excited to open gifts as he gets older and older. After the presents we shared in some leisurely moments where we played and relaxed.
