Tuesday, August 10, 2010. I am STILL loving the Mon Ami kit. You get SO MUCH stuff with this kit! It just keeps going and going and. I took those photos on my iPhone using the hipstamatic. I just went over to the BMS site to get the link for the kit and saw that it is ONLY $42.00! That is so awesome and seriously, you get SO MUCH STUFF WITH THIS KIT! Monday, May 31, 2010. Memorial Day Monday with Melanie! And a new kit. I hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday! Today I'm going to share my first layout from the Newest BlueMoon kit called Fresh Escapes. The colors are perfect with the different shades of greens, blues, oranges, with a touch of black and lovely accent color of coral. This is my first layout from the kit. If i could pick the best brother, I'd pick you. I had fun making these flowers. I used the Pink Paislee Pleated Ribbons.

My first lo today is of my daughter.I just loveeeeeeeeee this photo of her :):):):):):):):):):):):):):). I added some yellow mist to here too! Designed in the Steampunk Era using the newest Graphic 45 papers and staples. Here are a few items used: 7gypsies. Scrapbooking Hardware GEARS GEMS. Vangie did a fabulous job on this tray and researched the term "Steampunk"- take a look! I am so excited about being here with you all! I am the mother of a 19-year old boy. He is amazing! I work in the NICU!

I left her lots of journaling space, where she can put her thoughts, dreams, hopes, etc. I used word stickers from Margie's Girls' Paperie line. The mini album is made from 7G's ephemera cards. I am so loving those floral rub-ons found in the Mon Ami kit. Aren't her and her daughter adorable? Hope you have enjoyed this very girly mini!

A couple of weeks ago.my family and I went and visited the traveling statue of that 'sometimes creepy' couple known as, "American Gothic". It was really cool to see in person! And it was HUGE!
