The Family: A Divine Institution: December 2012

http://theinstitutionofthefamily.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

The Family: A Divine Institution. Saturday, December 8, 2012. One thing i learned from class discussion was the importance of keeping the children in mind when there has been remarriage. The biological parent should be the parent who disciplines, while the new parent becomes well associated with the children by building trust and friendship, like an awesome aunt or uncle would. Remarriage is truly be a great thing when taken seriously and done thoughtfully. Love, The Evans'. Saturday, December 1, 2012.

The Family: A Divine Institution: Prepare to Prevent

http://theinstitutionofthefamily.blogspot.com/2012/10/prepare-to-prevent.html

The Family: A Divine Institution. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Having children can hurt a the relationship of the husband and wife, if they do not prepare. I didn't realize that this can happen to any couple. Which means, it could happen to me. But, thanks to this class, I am going to make sure it doesn't! It is easy to neglect each other and even get after each other when the first baby comes due to stress, fatigue, misunderstandings, lack of affection being expressed, ect. But this can be prevented!

I liked a quote we talked about in class this week: "You can never get enough of what you need through a source you don't need." Now, how can we relate this to the family? Shibumi and the Kitemaker. February 4th, 2010. Heres a quote I love from a magical book, Shibumi and the Kitemaker by Mercer Mayer. Please enjoy. It is delicate with immeasurable strength. So refined it cannot be measured. It is authority without domination. It is eloquent silence without compare. So true it cannot be expressed. Humane Society sort-of okayed Sherlock Holmes. Welcome to the external hard drive of my brain. I blog. On a variety of topics. They’re tagged but also roughly sorted into these categories:. Books, movies, tv, music. A book, a movie, a show, a song. Was it amazing? Did I hate it? Am I now thinking deep thoughts about it? Come along for the ride. What is that certifiably insane time traveler up to THIS TIME? Travel, Writing, and Life in Holland. Another One of Those Movies! Often I am shocked by movie franchises that resemble a pink bunny banging on a drum in unending circles. Fast and Furious is a prime example. When I saw the Expendables 3 movie poster online, my head was shaking but my mouth was wide. Daggone, it’s just fun to look at the people Stallone threw together for that thing. And they’re making another one?
