http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2011. I got promoted :). This is my new title. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't super excited about this. What can I say? It feels good to be appreciated. I'm still loving my job and for that I am eternally grateful. Plus I'll be traveling less. Yes that is sad, since I may be seeing some of you less now, but after nearly three years of being on the road. I think I'm ready to enjoy my office with a view. Oh did I fail to mention that? Yes I have my. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Don't Postpone Joy........: April 2010
http://viola-family.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. Trish and I went to Savannah, she has a little job of reading electric meters, and I went along to keep her company. We went to Paula. For lunch. The line goes quickly, and it was a fun place to eat. We were walking around early that evening and came across a free concert. The symphony played and the artists painted. It was a real treat and very entertaining. The paintings were auctioned off after. Blowing out the candles on his favorite cake, with some help. Everyone that is spec...

Don't Postpone Joy........: August 2010
http://viola-family.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 20, 2010. Good thing we had some sweat shirts in the car. Lincoln is smiling because he got me with the snowball he threw. It was just beautiful up there. Austin's nose was red when we got back in the car. So glad we could have Chris, Hilary and Austin with us. Chaco's in the snow? Thanks, you guys, for the fun and memories. Temple Square is always beautiful, no matter what season, but I especially enjoy it when the tulips are in bloom, which they were for that visit. Our Little Kloe. ...

It was the best quilt shop I have ever been in. It will be a definite. I visit. Holly picked out fabric and a quilt pattern, and she is ready to go. A good friend to Heidi is a quilter and really enjoys sewing, and she told me about the shop. She has a great blog, amylouwho. Random thoughts from a multi- tasker. September 24, 2010 at 7:24 AM.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. I brought Aspen into work for the Halloween party and she played hard the entire time. Both she and the girls had a blast. A visit from Alisa and Owen. Move to Utah, won't you? Last week we had our fist snow of the season. It didn't last long but it was beautiful to wake up to. Aspen is always happy and I don't think she noticed much of a differnce. It was fun to see the white fluffy stuff on her nose. Aspen and the Milk Bottle. Boxes, boxes and MORE boxes. She loves being any w...

meandering miranda: Final DC Days
http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2014/01/final-dc-days.html
Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Part of me doesn't feel like I could do justice to DC in a single post. So rather I will focus on my departure from DC so I can begin blogging about my Sabbatical. Packing up my office was actually pretty rough. Even though I will be working for the same company, it was hard to know that I will never work in this space again. It's an ending and those are always a little bit sad for me. It was one of those nights that made my heart ache with love. She is a ray of sunshine. Sneak...

meandering miranda: February 2014
http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 6, 2014. I knew that when I was able to get two months off to move from Virginia to Utah that I would be spending a good chunk of time in Florida. Partly because I'm over the Cold but most especially to spend time with my people. If you're reading this, then you are my people and you know how important friendships and relationships are to me. Halfway through the Sabbatical, I have no regrets. Here's who I was able to see as I trekked down I-95 and crisscrossed my way through Florida.

La Bohème + one: February 2012

Wednesday, February 1, 2012. But not as strange as the interaction I had with her EVEN MORE odd husband this afternoon. I rarely see him. He is a short, stubby, 60-something guy that is usually holed up smoking various things in his apartment. In fact, the only times I'd seen him before was smoking on his balcony staring at people and walking his dog at 3:00am. Today, he asked how the pregnancy was going. He also offered to deliver the baby. Yes. Deliver the baby. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
