Wednesday, April 30, 2014. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter with both sides (one on Saturday, the other Sunday), dying eggs, and attending church as well. We love all the fun stuff associated with Easter- but we are especially grateful for the chance to reflect on and celebrate the Resurrection of the Savior and the great blessing it is to our lives. A couple videos we've watched and loved numerous times in the last couple weeks! Funny faces from our Easter baskets! Egg hunt at Grandma's.

Thursday, June 18, 2015. We thought it would be easiest to do a joint party for both girls since their birthdays are only a few weeks apart- and since Frozen is a favorite of Elise's and has a "sisters" theme, it seemed like a good choice for this year! Because of schedule conflicts, we ended up doing 2 parties- one with Jon's side of the family and one with mine! Elise with the Olaf that Jon hand-drew (even got out a ruler to draw him to scale). Sweet 1 year old Birthday Princess! Links to this post.

Mrs Liljehall - Recept. Blommor. Pyssel. Familj.
Recept. Blommor. Pyssel. Familj. Kategori: Kakor and Bakverk.

Glimpses of Me: Choosing Motherhood. Enjoying the choice of motherhood. Can I Make 2016 “The Year”? January 2, 2017. Today I remembered that I’d blogged about 2016 being “the year” … I’ll have to reflect a little bit and decide if I think I accomplished what I hoped to. Glimpses of Me: Choosing Motherhood. My mind screamed for a break from the work I was doing, even though I’d finally gotten into a good flow, and probably should have stayed focused. But that’s how my world is now, right? On Being a Mom.
