Equipment & Preparation. May 30, 2012. I had a busy week at work and haven’t been able to update after each run. Instead of the usual post run report I will post them all here in order. The highlights for me were my first 5k where I averaged under 8 min/mile pace and my first time running 10 miles or more! Here are the details of all my runs over the last 7 days:. Run 21 – 5k – Under 8 minute miles! Run 22 – Early in the morning! For this run I got up at 4:45am and went for a cheeky 4 miler before work!

Equipment & Preparation. Week in review – Week 13. June 10, 2012. A slightly disappointing week in terms of mileage following my exploits in the Celebrate Israel race last Sunday. The overall stats were as follows:. I did 3 runs in total, which is less than I need to do according to my training plan. Monday, July 29, 2013. Marathon Training: Week 2. Phew, it's been a crazy busy week, yet again! I'm officially 2 weeks into marathon training, so let's recap how it went:. I planned on doing a short recovery run in the morning, but was out past my bedtime Sunday night and opted for sleep instead! Tuesday: 3 miles (1 mile warm-up,1 mile @ 8:50pace, 1 mile cool down)-. I'm still adjusting to running with a Garmin to check my pace, and ended up running the 2nd mile at 9:10ish pace. Saturday: 8 mile long run-.
