Tuesday, December 22, 2009. One of a Kind Show New York 2009. Back from the One of a kind Show in New York City last week. It was so very cold! But as we walked through Columbus Circle every evening with the Christmas lights twinkling overhead and our steamy breath lingering in front of us it was magic. The most informative seminars were one presented by a group called Hello Craft and one by Bruce Baker who talked about booth design and salesmanship! Links to this post. Labels: hand painted silk. Sunday, April 12, 2015. Visiting my parents in beautiful Boulder, CO. The day couldn't be more glorious! They live right at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I brought a little knitting along with me. But I also brought all these beautiful hand dyed pearl cotton embroidery threads from Weeks Dye Works. Monday, February 23, 2015. Yesterday started my attempt to work within a weekly schedule. It isn' my natural way to work. And it isn' that I need a schedule to get things done. I work really hard everyday and every minute of every day! I won't ever be able to finish everything on the list. Duh! That's a tricky one for me as I love to get things finished. Here is the new schedule:. Saturday morning is reserved for photographing new Etsy items. I have to take enough to get me through the following week.

What do you think? Back detail of stamped image. Bare trees stencil at Etsy. Spray adhes...

Thursday, June 10, 2010. This is one of my latest pieces of wearable art. It is made from a very light weight china silk. I started with a 3 yard piece of fabric that was stretched on a frame. I then painted it with Setasilk textile paints. The funny thing about this piece is that it all happen accidentally. I usually buy my spray bottles from Prochemical and Dye. Links to this post.
