Alignment is measured after boot work and foot beds are completed. Out of alignment - Measuring alignment showing 2 degrees out on the left leg. Aligned - Shims placed under the left boot confirm alignment a strength test is also used to confirm alignment. Planing - Shavings from left boot sole after it was planed 2 degrees. Toe Ramp - Ramp angle being sanded back into the boot after planing is completed. Heel Ramp - Ramp angle being sanded back into the boot after planing is completed.

A pair of boots that are shell sized properly can cause you some pain however, these issues can and should be dealt with before you get on the snow.
