A transplant for kris. Friday, January 30, 2015. Year 4, day 75. Dr Field delivered some sweet news at Moffitt today. She has decided, after all, to schedule me for photophoresis treatments every third week, instead of every other week. Hallelujah! She seemed delighted to tell us that, commenting "awesome" several times in regard to my progress. What a difference a month makes, eh? That's the "good" cholesterol, of course, and I don't think mine has ever been higher than that. Must be the exercises.

A transplant for kris. Friday, October 31, 2014. Year 3, day 304. Dr Field said yesterday that she will probably continue my ECP treatments for a year. A year! That was a bit of a downer. But on the whole she seemed positive about the progress made and the longterm prognosis. Happy Halloween everyone! Saturday, October 25, 2014. Year 3, day 298. She ordered me to stop taking two diuretics (never mind that now my ankles and legs will swell up). I had to go in for another blood test yesterday (on a Sunday! We were there 12 hours - from 8 am to 8 pm Why? The hemoglobin had taken a nosedive.Someone called the blood bank, and now it turns out the blood bank needed extra samples of my blood.
