I made this little gift card holder in a class at the CK Convention last August. Pretty clever design. Great for giving Starbucks gift cards . . . maybe a teacher or co-worker gift? Craft Room ». Let me know if you want some. I’ve got tons…can cut up off a big strip. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Monthly Archives: October 2014. Fall is definitely here now. I love the crisp days and the turning leaves. And I love the fall decor! This is a little piece that I made last fall. I got the idea from etsy, but I knew that I could make it myself for way cheaper. I used chipboard coasters, and stamped the letters. I chalked the edges and added eyelets to the corners. I strung a ribbon through the eyelets, and done! Mom of two. Wife. IT Manager by day. Crafty mom when I can find some free time.

Monthly Archives: February 2015. While working from home during this week’s snow storm, I found that I could multi-task while sitting on conference calls. I cleaned up my desk, sorted through paper scraps, and used up images I had stamped a long time ago. One of the cards I made was this cute little anniversary card. I don’t recall where this stamp came from. I’m trying to build up my birthday card stash, so I made a few more cards using Stamps of Life birthday4cookie stamps. Stamp set from Stamps of Life.

Treasure Hunting | Craft Therapy

For more than a decade, I have searched and wished for an old spool cabinet. I have found plenty on ebay and occasionally in antique shops, but they have always been price prohibitive. Yesterday my husband and I stopped by our local antique shop ( Kelly’s Real Deals. Keep in mind that Kelly’s is basically a barn, and the items you find there are by no means picture perfect refinished antiques. That’s part of what I love about it. Here is my find right after I brought it home:. Updated Oct 8, 2014:. Notif...
