Bizarre Quilter: Zipped up
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/06/zipped-up.html
Saturday, June 11, 2011. This cute lil' zippy bag was a UFO. 8 of the 9 strips were joined together. All I had to do was add the last strip, layer and quilt, sew on the label, insert a zip and stitch the sides. Easy Peasy, and it's a finish! Yes, I am going to count it. hahahhaha). Bizarre Quilter: Confession time
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/07/confession-time.html
Friday, July 1, 2011. Yes, I will now confess that I made another two pillowcases after I posted yesterday! This is one pillowcase. This is the pair. Oh. I love vintage and repro fabrics! These are made using mostly fabric from the "Greystone" range. I think it's time to resolve not to make more than one pair of pillowcases per day. This could get ridiculous! Friday, July 01, 2011. Bizarre Quilter: Guru Love
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/09/guru-love.html
Monday, September 5, 2011. I have finished this wallhanging "Guru Love" - started last November. Just in time to give away for a birthday gift. Seven beaded motifs - one for each of the main chakras. Well, it's finished BECAUSE it's a birthday gift - there is no coincidence! Closeup of Guru and student. Free-motion machine quilted - cotton fabric on the back - it's so pretty! I love the quilt hanger- it's perfect. I'm thrilled to give this to someone special. Monday, September 05, 2011. Have a nice day!

Bizarre Quilter: The Little Red Baked Goods quilt
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/12/little-red-baked-goods-quilt.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. The Little Red Baked Goods quilt. Last night I found myself sitting at home watching movies for the first time in a long time. (do you know, I freaked out at the surround sound? I wondered what was going on behind/beside my couch! And I enjoyed my hand-stitching. I added the binding to The Little Red Baked Goods quilt. It's a gorgeous little quilt measuring just over half a metre squared. It feels soft and snuggly already! I know. shocking! When did I start it? This blog is a j...

Bizarre Quilter: The plan...
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-plan.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. Everything seems to be going to plan. the baby girl quilt is pieced and basted. I think I'll free motion bees on it and call it "Dance Of The Bumble Bees". It's quite bright and lairy. We went to the parents home yesterday and found no particular colour scheme in place, so it might even be the start of a theme. Is basted and ready to quilt, although it will be a week later for Mother's Day. I love it when we sometimes intuit the colours for a person that are perfect. In this blog I ...

Bizarre Quilter: Framed, Centred and Sidetracked
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/06/framed-and-centred.html
Thursday, June 30, 2011. Framed, Centred and Sidetracked. It didn't take long to finish the alternate frames on these 1950s stitcheries. The centre is complete. Yay! I was looking at the huge pile of "short bits" left over after the scrappy strippy log-cabin style borders were added. thinking. What will I do with these? I think I know what to do. Now the centre is complete, I will use up the strippy bits by joining them into long borders. I will go around the quilt centre as many times as possible. The f...

Bizarre Quilter: Just In Time
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/11/just-in-time.html
Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Just in time for Christmas. I've finished the Calendar! This little wallhanging looks so so much better than it did in a panel. The quilting adds a lot of depth. I decided to use little black safety pins and make them a decorative feature, rather than try to conceal the way the date medallions were attached. Just in time for me to clock up another finish. Hmm. now that's finished.what will I start next? Maybe I should finish something else first? Wednesday, November 23, 2011.

Bizarre Quilter: Just A Little Crazy...
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2015/05/just-little-crazy.html
Friday, May 8, 2015. Just A Little Crazy. Feeling like my head is going here, there and everywhere. Yesterday I spent the day working on a blue teacup stitchery to make into a table runner for the Biggest Morning Tea raffle, and finished it tonight. You can print the free stitchery pattern from here. Then yesterday evening I found an invitation to a baby shower that's in 2 1/2 weeks. Gah! My hands will be sewing everywhere! This definitely puts the Swedish Baby Quilt. Friday, May 08, 2015. In this blog I...

Bizarre Quilter: A little bit more skirt...
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2011/09/little-bit-more-skirt.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. A little bit more skirt. I've finished the Empress Woo skirt. Love love love it. And this is me wearing it! It has a lovely A line shape which is very flattering. It was actually too cold to wear a skirt today, so I wore it over jeans! Grin* I just couldn't help myself! It is Spring after all. And I've started the Gypsy Caravanesque skirt. Ooh, I'd like to finish it tonight so that I can wear it tomorrow! Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Bizarre Quilter: And! Of course...
http://bizarrequilter.blogspot.com/2015/05/and-of-course.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2015. It's Mother's Day this Sunday, and I've been thinking that my Mum will be on the road, so I haven't posted anything to her. There's a mother's day stall at the primary school tomorrow so that Rhette can buy some gifts. and yet I had completely forgotten about a gift for the new MIL. I've had a rummage through the caravan stash and found these that I stitched well over a year ago. Cinderberry Stitches Pattern "Twelve Red Robins". Amazing how quickly it adds up hey? This blog is a j...
