The Jackson's Est. 2005. Sunday, January 29, 2012. It has been QUITE some time since I posted on my blog. I have many new 'developments' to share. The biggest and most important is that Devon and I are expecting a new addition to our family in June 2011 - we are so very excited to meet him or her. We are currently 19 weeks along, and we will know all too soon whether it is a boy or a girl. We recently ordered and recieved our nursery furniture in order to give our new baby a 'proper' welcome home!

Thursday, July 31, 2014. We spent one weekend this summer showing family around Downtown Detroit. We did a Detroit Princess Riverboat cruise, The DIA, The Michigan Science Center, Eastern Market, Heidelberg Project, Slows BBQ, and a Tigers Game. Detroit Institute of Arts. Monday, July 28, 2014. A carnival was in our little downtown area this summer again. IKEA had a summer coworker party that the kids really enjoyed. Last Travel Baseball Game. Potty Training Success this summer! Saturday, July 12, 2014.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our girl turning 1, we did nothing extravagant but had a few friends over on her "actual" birthday and then celebrated with my whole family with a joint celebration with her cousin Maia, who turned 3. Opening her first present! Our not so big 1 year old :). Not to sure about this.

The Lord has done GREAT things for us and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:3. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Lucy is 4 month old! We cannot believe how time flies! At 4 months old. You weigh 12 lbs. 7 oz. (35th percentile). You are 24 3/4" (80th percentile) Owen and her have some good ol' dutch genes coming out :-). You nurse every 3-4 hours. You continue to sleep through the night and mommy and daddy love it! You are in 3-6 month clothes. You still have not slept in your crib.oops! Fast Forward to Christmas.

Thursday, August 15, 2013. There is a lot of catching up on photos from this summer that needs to be done yet. Below is a mix of phone and camera shots from our most recent trip up north. The five of us visited Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Leland, then finished up the week in Cadillac for our annual vacation with Janet's family. Sleeping Bear Dunes (Glen Lake behind us).
