Carol and Max: DIY: Crochet fly bonnet
http://carolandmaxadventures.blogspot.com/2014/10/diy-crochet-fly-bonnet.html
Wednesday, October 1, 2014. DIY: Crochet fly bonnet. This is a crochet bonnet I've been working on for Max in his official color - turquoise! I chose a lovely yarn with sparkles woven in it, and some matching beads to weave into the finished bonnet. The pattern I used had to be modified a couple of times because Max has a smaller sized head (more cob than horse), but his ears are a regular horse ear length! It took a few fittings but it's finally done and it fits great! The front is done, ears still wip.

Carol and Max: December 2015
http://carolandmaxadventures.blogspot.com/2015_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 13, 2015. Putting my foot down. Here's a summarized recap of the week! Monday: Worked on transitions then did some drill work with another rider there. We did a simon says thing for a while, then worked on side-by-side trot work, and then canter circles. It really helped Max stay focused! Tuesday: Didn't do too much - Max felt a little sluggish and would pin his ears during canter transitions. I decided to keep things easy and give him the next two days off. I decided to put my foot down...

Carol and Max: January 2015
http://carolandmaxadventures.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. Things are looking up, kinda. Well things have been interesting these past few days in my little horse world. Let's start with the good news, because in a sense it affects the bad news. First of all The the most Amazing dentist came and worked on his teeth. I love this dentist.he was so gentle with Max, easy to talk to and did a great job. He found numerous sharp points in his mouth that were causing discomfort and removed them. I also didn't detect any limp! Sosaddle fitting-...

Carol and Max: April 2015
http://carolandmaxadventures.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. With the weather improving day by day, and hunter paces looming in the future, I decided it was a good time to invest in a helmet camera. There was not much room in the budget for a GoPro, so I settled for a knock-off I found on amazon. It was a third of the price, had pretty good reviews, came with it's own water-proof casing, remote control and GoPro compatible mounts so I figured why not! I'll be writing a review on it once I've had a chance to use it a few more times. Again I ...
