Sunday, March 31, 2013. Twas the first day of Spring break and all through the house. Three boys were only beginning their reign of terror. At least this first day they were all enjoying each other's company and only plotting against me, instead of fighting with each other. And if I had to choose between the two, that's the way I'd rather have it. It's messy, it's silly, it's irritating at times, but it is good natured. Maybe not so happy once we get bids for building it, but very excited anyway.

Saturday, April 06, 2013. It's Spring Break. Uncle Nathan graciously came to town to save my life. We're surviving though I am bigger and more uncomfortable and less mobile every hour. I made a "strawberry chocolate" pie for April Fools day on Monday. Actually a shepherds pie with a little cocoa and molasses and barbecue sauce in the meat to make it look like chocolate, and mashed potatoes with beet puree on top for the strawberry whipped cream.
