There are three ways of getting to the site:. Driving (obviously), the drive from Helsinki takes about an hour. Flying to Helsinki airport and paying for a pickup, if you do not want to rent a car; the drive takes about 30 minutes. Taking a bus from Helsinki, stop 1.5 km from site (pickups are possible within certain limits).

From Helsinki center and ports. Follow the signs to the motorway 3 (red square, white number), also known as E12, direction Tampere. Drive towards Tampere until junction 13. Follow the signs towards Nurmijärvi to get onto road 1311 to Nurmijärvi. Stay on 1311 and continue x km until you come to a big four-way crossing in Rajamäki. Turn left onto Kiljavantie, signposted Kiljava (if you want to go to a grocery store, turn right here into Rajamäki, then take next left to end up on S-Market parking lot).

The bus ride between Helsinki and the site takes about an hour either way. The price of the trip is about 9 euros for adults, children and students with a Finnish student card pay roughly 7 euros; be prepared to pay in cash (biggest bill taken is a 50 euro note).
