Wandering Consciousness: How to Support WikiLeaks and Julian Assange
http://wanderingconsciousness.blogspot.com/2010/12/how-to-support-wikileaks-and-julian.html
Wednesday, December 08, 2010. How to Support WikiLeaks and Julian Assange. Today I typed http:/ www.wikileaks.com into my browser's URL. I didn't get there. Instead I ended up with a message saying," Sorry! This site is not currently available." That's an incredible shame, since I see WikiLeaks as a type of Robin Hood in our Information Society. How can a country (say, like the U.S.A.) declare itself democratic if information is kept from the people? There are four ways to donate:. To donate please do an...

The road less travelled: February 2014
http://nanshi78.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
The road less travelled. Even fleeting thoughts are worth remembering! Saturday, February 22, 2014. All over the world people are in an uproar, whatsapp is down. Is it a Zuckerberg conspiracy or just plain coincidence? I for my part, don't really mind. We exchanged notes and letters, had a real conversation with each other. Just the other day I peed my pants upon h(over)hearing three senior citizens; Senior number one: "Hey Peter why did you not respond to my Whatsapp, I asked how Bert was doing? Get dow...

The road less travelled: October 2012

The road less travelled. Even fleeting thoughts are worth remembering! Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Losing another one of my friends in such a short time makes you realize just how short life is. Maybe it's because I'm crook, maybe I'm just over sensitive, but I'm scared. Like real scared that not being able to visit each other, or in this case, me not visiting, will eventually kill our relationship. Experts say to be honest about your true thoughts and feelings. To not be afraid to express fear or d...

The road less travelled: Poignantly similar, poignantly different
http://nanshi78.blogspot.com/2013/06/poignantly-similar-poignantly-different.html
The road less travelled. Even fleeting thoughts are worth remembering! Sunday, June 23, 2013. Poignantly similar, poignantly different. It's been six days now and I'm actually doing ok. Well coping, I think. Two days shy of our 1 1/2 year anniversary the mutual decision was to call it a day. Funny though how out of all the trashy romance novels one can buy, I just happened to pick up the one that was very accurate about my situation. With that one small difference, the happy ending.

Wandering Consciousness: Beyond Capitalism
http://wanderingconsciousness.blogspot.com/2011/10/beyond-capitalism.html
Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Few people (in my personal discussions) argue these points. Education, representation, access to safe food and water; these are things in the western world we take for granted. But should we? There are some things we may want done without a profit motive. Sometimes we easily agree that the right choice will simply cost more. As individuals we can make the choice to invest that little extra. But what about, as a society? This needs to change. We need to be able to use word...

Wandering Consciousness: Micronutrient Malnutrition
http://wanderingconsciousness.blogspot.com/2011/10/micronutrient-malnutrition.html
Saturday, October 08, 2011. Say "malnutrition" and thoughts go straight to starving children in Africa; drought victims relying on bags of UNICEF rice. Children and adults with seriously caloric-deficient diets will eventually die. This is starvation. Say "micronutrient malnutrition" and thoughts go straight to. what? Vitamins are organic compounds that are essential for life. They include at least 13 different substances including retinol, thiamine, ascorbic acid, calciferol, riboflavin, tocopherol,...

The road less travelled. Even fleeting thoughts are worth remembering! Thursday, June 28, 2012. Big girls don't cry. I will be brave I will not let anything Take away What's standing in front of me. And all along I believed I would find you Time has brought Your heart to me. Friday, June 15, 2012. Nosy people or entitlement issues. This color is one of my favorites! With, "The same as others in his position," or, "Oh, he's doing just fine, why don't you ask him? Tuesday, June 12, 2012. And if you love him.
